Yorktowne
Corn Dishes, Set of 4
Yorktowne, a classic stoneware pattern, has a deep blue, hand-applied floral motif that adds dimension to the smooth glaze that is reminiscent of early salt-glaze techniques. These cute little dishes were designed for corn, but they will work great as a cracker tray. Need a longer dish to serve asparagus, celery and carrots? This is it! Set of four, each 8 1/2" long x 3" wide.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shack2 These dishes are substantial
I've collected the Yorktowne pattern for some time now and have always been pleased. These corn dishes, however, are the best yet. They are extremely sturdy and quite substantial. Nothing flimsy about this addition to my collection. They are the perfect size and are raised far enough at the ends that butter won't leak out. Thank you Plaltzgraff!

Purchased a second set of these corn dishes after delighting in the first one. The blue trim (not really a deep blue, but very pretty) and oyster white interior make these dishes compatible with many patterns in addition to Yorktowne. Side depressions are a perfect size for even larger corn holders without sacrificing enough room on the bottom to slosh around the corn in butter. I add thinly sliced butter to the entire bottom of the dish before adding the corn and then twirl away! And my guests, who tend to poo-pooh any non-essentials, loved them.
