Haven't had this crock very long, but I am hoping the way the lid has its own seal will keep the brown sugar from getting rock hard! In any case I like the design with the built in handles which make getting the lid on and off easier.

This is a beautiful way to store brown sugar. The size is perfect, and there is a removable seal to keep it airtight. It is thinner than it looks in the picture; instead of round it is a narrow oval, which is actually good because it doesn't take up as much space! I love the neutral brown color with the dark blue accents. My only complaint is that it's too pretty to store away in the cabinet!
