12 Piece Laguiole Steak Knife Set
This Cuisine de France 12 Piece Laguiole Steak Knife Set is the perfect complement to any dinnerware or flatware set. The slim, sinuous outline of the knives was inspired by a shepherd's tool first manufactured in the French village of Laguiole in the 19th century. Each blade is expertly crafted from high-carbon stainless steel for strength and durability. Their razor-sharp edges slice through steak and chops with ease. The ergonomically designed handles provide a comfortable grip, and are perfectly weighted for optimum balance and control. Set includes 12 steak knives. Hand wash with warm water and a mild detergent; rinse and dry immediately. Knife blade measures 4-1/2 inch long.

These knives have something I have never seen before; a small triangular "flange" on the upper edge of the knife for your forefinger while you are cutting! They also have slight indentations every 1/8 inch on the serrated blade for precise cutting, AND they are absolutely beautiful to look at and are light weight as well. They are fabulous works of craftmanship and I will be getting more for xmas gifts; it does not get any better than this.
